Schema Therapy

Schema therapy targets deeply ingrained, negative patterns, often rooted in childhood. It is ideal for people who face recurring problems in life, such as relationship difficulties, emotional instability, or self-esteem issues. In schema therapy, these patterns—referred to as “schemas”—are explored and addressed. The therapy helps to break these patterns and develop healthier ways of coping. Techniques include emotion exploration, revisiting past experiences, and using methods like imagery, role-playing, and behavioral experiments.
